Last year, Dragon Ball FighterZ producer Tomoko Hiroki said they would consider porting over the game to the Nintendo Switch but waiting on how well Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will do on the Switch first. Sales have gone through the roof and the game has received updates well after the game has released on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Just last week during Nintendo’s E3 presentation, Dragon Ball FighterZ will launch on the Nintendo Switch in 2018. Now, a release date has been announced by Bandai Namco along with a preorder bonus. Dragon Ball FighterZ will launch September 28 and those who preorder the game will receive the classic Japanese version of Dragon Ball Z: Super Butoden, originally released on the Super Nintendo (Super Famicom) on 1993. Players will also have early access to Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan (SSGSS) Goku and SSGSS Vegeta characters. Great gifts for Nintendo fans.
No details on the season pass and available characters (Bardock, Broly, Vegito, fused Zamasu) for the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo eShop but we expect more details to follow later in the summer. The game will run 1080p/60fps when docked. Dragon Ball FighterZ is available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The game will be available on the Nintendo Switch on September 28, 2018 in the west.
