It’s been a Dragon Ball news today folks. Aside from new illustrations of Paragus and Broly for the upcoming Dragon Ball Super: Broly movie, Kefla announced as a DLC character for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, we now have two new characters coming to Dragon Ball FighterZ‘s roster. While this isn’t as big as the other two Dragon Ball news, it’s still has some interests. Yes it’s another version of Goku and Vegeta however they’re appearances and move sets are based off of the Sayan arc, the early episodes of Dragon Ball Z television series.
Fans of the early stages of Dragon Ball Z will get enjoyment as you can replay the famous Goku and Vegeta fight all over again without any Super Saiyan forms. Instead, Goku can use his Kaioken technique to power-up and using it for his Kamehameha attack and use the spirit bomb technique. Vegeta can use his Galick Gun attack and another where he’ll throw throw his opponent in the air, with a smirk on his face while shooting off a large energy blast to take out his opponent. Those who remembered the series, this is when Vegeta takes out Nappa, his old Saiyan comrade. Vegeta’s original Saiyan armor and Goku’s Turtle Hermit gi (uniform), assuming with King Kai’s symbol on the back, making a return for the fighting game.
ArcSystems has been very detailed on their character moves and animation clips between certain characters. We may just see a scene when putting Vegeta and Nappa together where Vegeta takes out his comrade once more, or even the famous Goku’s Kamehameha vs Vegeta’s Galick Gun scene. We’ve seen something similar such as Bardock finished off Frieza (Freeza) in an animated clip, something new to remember the good ‘ol days would be special.
No date set yet when the two fighters will be available to purchase and download, though we expect later in the year. Dragon Ball FighterZ is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (Steam. Coming soon to the Nintendo Switch on September 28, 2018.
