We’ve mentioned about particular PlayStation trophies earlier, now it seems there’s a message in the physical Mega Man X Anniversary Collection soundtrack that looks like an additional tease on a new Mega Man X game, Mega Man X9. Inside the booklet, right after Mega Man X8 (Rock Man in Japan), there’s a special message: The story of X’s fight is not yet over.

This could very well be a generic message to keep the book open for X and the gang and not have any new games to come. With the PlayStation trophies revealing secret images and now this, it’s hard to believe Capcom isn’t already planning the next Mega Man X game. We’ve seen something similar with a Mega Man 11 artwork stuck inside a Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 museum, before the new Mega Man game was ever announced. For the time being, speculate!

Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 + 2 will release July 24, 2018 for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC (Steam). You can also order the Mega Man X Anniversary Soundtrack at Play-Asia.
