Bandai Namco recently announced their new Digimon game, Digimon Survive. Just coming off their live stream, Bandai Namco has announced that their upcoming Digimon game will head west for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam). Digimon is celebrating it’s 20th anniversary and what better way to celebrate than by having everyone around the world celebrate the franchise’s new game. Hopefully we don’t need to worry about Digimon poop like players had to deal with in the classic PlayStation game, Digimon World.

The game places you in a dangerous world where you must survive along with your Digimon if you want to return to your world. The game’s combat will be designed as a grid-style combat, strategy role-playing game (RPG). Based on the recent live stream from Bandai Namco, the game will have approximately 100 playable Digimon but will be more focused on the story than collecting.

Digimon Survive will arrive on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam) in 2019. Japan will receive the game next year but for only the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. You can visit the game’s official Japanese website for any additional info.
