The Dragon Ball FighterZ roster is getting another fighter. Android 17 will finally make a roster spot in the game. Originally the character was only for Android 18’s battle support on certain moves in battle. Android 17’s design and attacks will be based on the Dragon Ball Super series.
Not only do we get a new character, a new fighting stage will also be available, and Halloween-themed lobby characters and stamps. Android 17 and the additional content are slated for September 27 in Japan. With Cooler not yet released until September 28 in North America and Europe, we can expect Android 17 and the other content to release the same time. The Halloween items will be available at the lobby store until late November. Nintendo Switch players may not receive the latest update when the game launches the same day, September 28. A date will be revealed afterwards.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (Steam). Coming soon to the Nintendo Switch on September 28, 2018.
