A big surprise in content today from Bandai Namco. Jump Force story trailer has been revealed along with five new characters added to the roster. Two of those characters are from newer anime series, Black Clover and My Hero Academia.
The Jump Force story trailer showcases a device called the Onyx Book that has mysteriously merged the worlds of reality and Shonen Jump together. With this, villains have helped cause the new merged world into chaos, destruction, and death. To tackle the problem, Director Glover creates a team called the Jump Force. This team features the strongest characters from the Shonen Jump universe. You can watch the story trailer below the article. We also see more footage of Light Yagami and his pal Ryuk involved quite heavily in the story. They may not be fighters but they have some sort of impact to the chaotic world.
Five characters have been added to the roster and most of them are additional characters to their franchise. Trunks (Dragon Ball Z), Boa (One Piece), Renji (Bleach), Asta (Black Clover), and Izuku Midoriya, aka Deku (My Hero Academia). We didn’t anticipate another Dragon Ball and One Piece character would have been added but here we are. Trunks is among one of biggest popular Dragon Ball characters.
