Celebrating the game’s 20 years of 2D anime action, both the original Guilty Gear as well as Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R will be bundled together in a physical release, only for the Nintendo Switch. However, players can still purchase both these games separately for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.

Guilty Gear originally released on the classic PlayStation console in 1998. The game was originally published by Atlus, developed by Arc System Works. To celebrate 20 years of Guilty Gear, an announcement trailer is available below. Guilty Gear and Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R will release on the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 digitally spring of 2019. Physical edition of the Guilty Gear 20th Anniversary Edition will also release the same timeframe for only the Nintendo Switch.
