Since E3 2015, we haven’t seen much of Final Fantasy VII Remake. The game has been gone through lots of development problems and some redesigning. During PlayStation’s State of Play (similar to the Nintendo Direct), Final Fantasy VII Remake second trailer finally arrives after a long absence.

Like the first trailer, the trailer still focuses in Midgar, the city where it all takes place. The trailer does show off some gameplay action, with a mix of JRPG elements and action instead of turn-based. The less than two minute trailer shows off more in-depth cinematic scenes, letting our 1997 imagination run wild. Heck, one of Cloud’s limit breaks make an appearance. At the end of the trailer, Square Enix hints that more details will come this June. Most likely during E3 as Square Enix took over Sony’s original E3 time slot, June 10th at 6pm PT, 9pm ET. Mark those calendars Cloud fans.

Overall, the game looks REALLY good and hopefully it will play like that when it finally releases (hopefully before 2030). Final Fantasy VII Remake still slated to come only to the PlayStation 4 but things can change. I mean, Final Fantasy VII is now available for the Nintendo Switch and Xbox One.
