A 2015 Dragon Quest mobile game is making its way to western countries in early 2020. Dragon Quest of the Stars made over 20 million downloads in Japan since 2015 and Square Enix is hoping to add more downloads. Please note this is not the same mobile game that was announced earlier this year. The free-to-play game lets players create their own character and two companions to embark on this great adventure with in solo mode. Additionally, multiplayer is an option with up to three other players. Players will battle classic Dragon Quest monsters by using touch controls on their devices.
Android (at least 4.1) users can sign-up for beta now as it’ll start October 30th to November 28th of 2019. Completing the beta will not carry over data to the full game. However, all closed beta participants will receive a special reward when the game is officially launched. The game will be available for both Android and iOS devices early 2020. You can visit the Dragon Quest mobile game official English website for additional details.
