Dragon Ball has been around for 30 years. As part of the celebration, Toei Animation and Funimation are bringing the symphonic concert to North America. The Dragon Ball symphony concert, officially titled as The Dragon Ball Symphonic Adventure, plays on March 27, 2020 in Chicago’s Rosemont Theatre. Tickets go on sale November 15, 2019. Other concert locations have been all outside the US, so to have one in the states is a pretty big. While no other locations have been announced, let’s hope additional dates are to be made soon.

Additionally, limited VIP meet-n-greet tickets available on first day of sales. Fans of the Dragon Ball series can meet Hiroki Takahashi, the original vocal artist of the Dragon Ball series theme song, Makafushigi Adventure!. Fans also will meet the acclaimed conductor, Eric Roth. VIP ticket holders can get an autograph from both after the concert.

If you are familiar with The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses or Distant Worlds: Music from Final Fantasy, the setup will be familiar. HD video clips to be projected on screen, behind the symphony but with special lighting and sound effects. Will you be purchasing your ticket for the Dragon Ball symphony concert?
