My Hero Academia‘s second theater film (My Hero Academia Heroes Rising) launched in Japan on December 20th, 2019 and has done quite well. Making over 1.1 billion yen in ticket sales. The movie will receive a 4D treatment in 81 cinemas in Japan on January 24, 2020. So when does the second film come to North America? My Hero Academia Heroes Rising theater date announced by Funimation for February 26, 2020. Screenings to include subbed and dubbed versions. Regarding ticket sales, advanced tickets go on sale January 31st. Theater selections have not yet been announced but will soon before February.

There’s been hints that this could be the last movie for the popular anime series. However, time will tell if that comes true. My Hero Academia‘s first film did quite well in North America, perhaps the second film can match or overthrow it in sales. You can watch the official English trailer below on the announcement.
