Sea of Stars Announced by the Creators of The Messenger

Sea of Stars announced by the creators of The Messenger, Sabotage Studio. The game currently on Kickstarter to reach $90,760 its goal and looking like with no problems being funded. The game’s 2D animated art style and turn-based combat gameplay will grab role-playing fans attention. The look and feel certainly has the Super Nintendo vibe, especially taking notes from a classic game like Chrono Trigger.

The game’s storyline takes place before the flood in the indie game, The Messenger. Where many islands are available for you to explore. Those who have played The Messenger may recognize familiar faces and origin stories. Leaving more opportunities for future games. The game currently showcasing two playable characters and will have up to six. Those designs not yet revealed.

Award-winning composer from The Messanger, Eric W. Brown returns to work on the music for Sea of Stars. A few sample tracks available below for the game and available for purchasing.

Sea of Stars being built on the Unity engine. The game to support up to 10 languages as of now and will release in 2022. As of now, PC confirmed with specific game consoles to come depending where the market stands. More updates to come the closer to its launch.
