Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition first announced by Square Enix earlier back in August 2018. Scheduled to release in 2019 but pushed back. With the pandemic going around globally, could we see a light at the end of the tunnel for the game? Yes! Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered release date revealed for August 27, 2020. New additions to the game revealed and fans of the original Gamecube edition can look forward to this.
Character voice overs, variant character skins, additional items to equip on characters, new dungeons and bosses, and online mode for multiplayer. The online multiplayer is a much needed asset to the game as it’ll let you play up to four on a team and play across other platforms. Nintendo Switch players can play with not only PlayStation 4 friends but also iOS and Android users. Vice versa with other platforms. Unfortunately, a big miss for Xbox and PC players. Also a new feature introduced in the game is a “Mimic” feature. Allowing players to take form of various characters they have met on their journey. To change forms, players are required to collect stamps and visit Moogle Houses or completing dungeons.
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered release date set for August 27, 2020 on the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android devices.
