CrossCode takes a few notes from classic 1990’s classic RPG games, such as Phantasy Star series and Legend of Zelda in a beautiful pixel styled 2D world. The story takes places in the distant future, where you play as Lea. After logging into a fictional MMO game called CrossWorlds, Lea suffers from memory loss and is mute. To regain Lea’s memories, players will go on a journey inside the MMO to uncover mysteries that surround CrossWorlds and why a mute player is stuck in the game. CrossCode originally released on Steam in September 2018. Nearly two years of waiting, console players will get their hands on the game.

CrossCode console release schedule for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on July 9, 2020 digitally. Physical release on August 28, 2020.
