Nexomon: Extinction Releases on Home Consoles This Summer

Pokemon-like game for non-Nintendo consoles.

Update July 30, 2020: Nexomon: Extinction release date announced for August 28, 2020.

With Pokemon being exclusive to Nintendo’s consoles (not including mobile game, Pokemon GO), monster hunting would be a dream to play on the PlayStation or Xbox console. While Pokemon may not come to other consoles, indie studio VEWO Interactive and PQube games are going to help that. Introducing  Nexomon: Extinction and it’ll release this summer on consoles: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC (Steam), and Nintendo Switch. Players who played Pokemon are familiar with the formula, capture monsters, raise them to evolve, and battle against others. This is Nexomon‘s second installment, the first one released in 2017 for iOS and Android devices. While other details such as battling online and interaction with other consoles for a potential cross-play, players will have to wait closer to its initial release.
