After last year’s announcement at Microsoft’s E3 presentation and 26 years of slumber, Rash, Zitz and Pimple are coming back. The new Battletoads game slated to release on the Xbox One, Windows 10, Xbox Game Pass and Steam on August 20th. If you’re picking up the Xbox Series X, we can’t see why the game won’t be updated to play there too being a property for Microsoft. While not clearly stated, multiplayer would be available for both offline and online play.
The The three-player co-op, beat ’em up game will have a stylish look with comical writing with the help of development team from Dlala Studios. The game looks to cary multiple genre gameplay such as shoot ’em up and the return of the turbo bike. Hopefully the bike experience won’t be as hard from the classic 1991 NES game, Battletoads.
