Hunter x Hunter fans will be delighted to know that Meruem joins the Jump Force roster as a season 2 DLC. Since its announcement of Jump Force coming to the Nintendo Switch, Bandai Namco revealed a season 2 of DLC fighters with Shoto Todoroki as the first to release for the new season. Expect a new character trailer from Bandai to show up soon to reveal a release window for Meruem. Meruem’s trailer has arrived. After Meruem, a Yu Yu Hakusho character to announce next.

Meruem first appeared in Hunter x Hunter as a humanoid creature known as an Ant. Powerful and violent, Meruem has an unique personality that has drawn fans to enjoy. With the announcement of the humanoid coming to Jump Force is a great addition to the roster. Now we can have that monster vs monster fight between Meruem and Cell from Dragon Ball Z.

Season 2 pass retailing at $17.99 USD for five playable characters. Jump Force available now for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (Steam). Releasing on the Nintendo Switch on August 28th, 2020.
