Octopath Traveler received positive feedback and Square Enix is continuing to create additional games for it. Octopath Traveler prequel (Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent) announced last year, was delayed to 2020. Reported by Gematsu, the game will launch in Japan on October 28th for the iOS and Android smartphones. As for a western release, no details nor announcements just yet. Though expect the game to release for western countries afterwards.
