Instead of putting up holiday decorations for the season, a couple in Dallas, Texas takes an alternate route with nostalgia. Transforming the front of their house to a giant Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) with Super Mario Bros. 3 painted on a large television screen.

Katie Milam and her husband Mike took around one month and a half to design and setup this giant NES setup. Mike took care of the woodworking part of the NES console and the large TV. Katie painted a scene from Super Mario Bros. 3 on the built screen. I wonder if they’ll update the screen to animate next year, can only imagine the electric bill if that was to run every night for a few hours. Regardless, this is a fun way to spread joy around.
