With April coming to an end, a new month begins and new Pokémon GO events are coming, including two new legendary Pokémon: Xerneas and Yveltal. The first event, Luminous Legends X, begins Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at 10 am to Monday, May 17, 2021 at 8 pm (local time). During this timeframe, the fairy-type Legendary Pokémon, Xerneas will make its appearance in five-star raids. Additionally, Galarian Ponyta and Alolan Exeggutor will be joining the raids.
Xerneas isn’t the only Pokémon making a debut in the popular mobile game, Spritzee, Swirlix, and Goomy are making an appearance too. Many other fairy and dragon type Pokemon will be appearing such as Dratini, Ralts, Bagon and Cottonee. This is also a chance for players to evolve Sliggoo (the Evolution of Goomy) into Goodra with either a rainy lure module or in-game weather is rainy.
Dragonite and Salamence will receive some spotlight as well. Evolving a Dragonair or use a Charged TM on a Dragonite to teach it Draco Meteor. Evolve a Shelgon or use a Charged TM on a Salamence to teach it Outrage.
The other legendary Pokémon, Yveltal will make its debut “soon” according to Niantic.
