River City Girls 2 Announced

River City Girls 2 picks up after the events of River City Girls. Players continue to control Misako and Kyoko, along with Kunio, Riki, and other characters. The game will be an all-new beat-em-up adventure with new movies, new moves, new enemies, new recruits, new environments, and the return of an old foe await. River City Girls 2 features a two-player co-op action both locally and online.

River City Girls Zero Announced

River City Girls Zero takes place before the events of River City Girls, where Misako and Kyoko teamed up with Kunio and Riki. The game’s graphics, music, and gameplay remain to its natural 16-bit, 1994 Super Famicom game Shin Nekketsu Kōha: Kunio-tachi no Banka. Making it the first time the game to be localized for the West. Additionally, the game will add a new opening cinematic, new manga cutscenes, and new theme song by River City Girls composer Megan McDuffee.

With both games revealed during the Limited Run Games E3 2021 stream, a physical edition and a collector’s edition are heading for pre-orders soon for both River City Girls 2 and River City Girls Zero.
