Jump Force launched in 2019 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Months later into 2020, the crossover fighting game came to the Nintendo Switch. The game received mixed reviews regards to its performance, gameplay and visual quality.

For those still haven’t picked up the game and its DLC for specific fighters like Majin Buu and All Might, you have until February 7, 2022 at 5 pm PST / 8 pm EST. You’ll still be able to play and re-download the game as long as the purchase was made prior to the end date. The boxed versions will also cease manufacturing in the same timeframe. Here’s a detailed list on what’s going to be removed in February:

  • PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC of the Jump Force game
  • Nintendo Switch of Jump Force Deluxe Edition
  • Jump Force Character Pack 1-14
  • Jump Force Character Pass 1-2
  • Jump Force Medal
  • Other Jump Force paid content DLC

Regards to the online services, they will go down on August 24, 2022 at 10 pm PDT / 1 am EST on August 25, 2022. Ranked matches, lobbies will go down along with the following online services:

  • Logging into the multiplayer lobby
  • Online events
  • Clan functions
  • Viewing the Notice Board
  • Viewing the leaderboards
  • Accepting Rewards from the Reward Counter
  • In-game Store
  • Premium Shop (*Only this function will be available until 8/1/2022)
  • Online Ranked Match

In some good news, here’s what can still be played after the service ends in August 2022:

  • Offline content
  • Online battles (*Except Ranked Match)
  • DLC (*DLCs purchased before end of sales will still be available to use after online service ends.)

While details are scarce why it’s ending, whether its licenses expiring or poor sales, Jump Force will end its sales and services in 2022. The game brought interesting crossover characters from popular Shonen anime series such as Goku versus Luffy. It also brought in unfamiliar characters to the western audience such as Dai from Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai.

Jump Force available until February 7, 2022 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Additional details on the service end times and content available on Bandai Namco’s official website.
