Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero Film Coming to North America Theaters in Summer 2022

During the second day of Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2022 event, additional news came out that the next Dragon Ball film. Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero is coming to North America theaters in summer 2022. Additionally, a new key visual released showing familiar characters making a return. Bulma, Android 18, Krillin, and a teenage version of Goten and Trunks. What’s more interesting is Trunks’s hair color is now blue instead of purple and both Goten and Trunks doing the fusion pose. What role will these familiar faces bring to the table? Fans will have to wait a little longer.

The film set to release in Japan’s theaters on April 22nd, fans in North America won’t have to wait too long compared to past films. The first teaser trailer shown during New York Comic Con showcased how the film will animate using 3D renders. Fans showing mix feelings but the film will continue forward to release this year.
