A new season of events begin today on Pokémon GO. The Pokémon GO Alola season starts March 1 at 10 am and ends June 1 at 10 am. The announcement came during the weekend’s Pokémon Day celebration as a teaser video. New Pokémon from the Sun and Moon games will make their first appearance, including Tapu Koko appearing in raid battles. Trainers can finally catch Rowlet, Litten, Popplio and more from the original DS games on the mobile game by either in the wild, raids and egg hatching. There’ll be multiple tasks in the game’s in-game events such as capturing specific Pokémon in the wild, raids and community events.
Tapu Koko’s raid appearance will last until March 15th, trainers will need to work quickly before this Pokémon leaves. Rockruff will also appear in raids and egg hatching. If you’re lucky you may land a shiny version. Rockruff can also evolve to one of these two evolved forms: Midday Form Lycanroc or Midnight Form Lycanroc. Additional events will be announced at a later date.
