With the global pandemic forcing cancellation for every live event, Anime Japan 2022 returns to open its doors to the public, the first time since 2019. Last year, like many events, was a digital-only event. Anime Japan this year gives both options to those who want to experience the events in-person or in the comfort of their own home.

The broadcast available for many countries outside of Japan but unfortunately it’ll be broadcast only in Japanese with no subtitles. At the very least, anime fans can experience the event. Unfortunately watching online isn’t free. Tickets go for 2,300 yen (tax included) per day for pre-sale. Otherwise, 2,600 yen (tax included) per day for purchasing on same day as event. Tickets can be purchased on the event’s website.

The event lasts for two days, March 26th and 27th (Japanese time zone) at Tokyo Big Sight, in Tokyo, Japan. For those who want to watch afterwards can still do so till Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at 23:59 JST (Monday, March 28, 10:59 am EST). There’s a good amount of content to display from popular shows such as: Hunter x Hunter, Attack on Titan, Jujutsu Kaisen, Spy x Family, and Ranking of Kings. Cast members and cosplay showcases also take stage on those two days. Be sure to check out the program’s schedule on the official website.
