Two familiar faces from the Gal*Gun series are making a return in a Castlevania-like game, Gal Guardians: Demon Purge. The two demon hunting sisters, Shinobu Kamizono and Maya Kamizono, take on the challenge within the demon castle that once was their school once stood to uncover its secrets and fellow students. Players can control either sister in a 2-player simultaneous co-op mode in this 2D retro-inspired platformer game. Single players can swap between sisters while playing.
The game is currently in development and plans to release for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. A release date window not confirmed but expect sometime in 2023 to get your hands-on this interesting title. For more information, fans can visit the game’s official website.
