The Sonic Team is making an appearance as playable characters for the upcoming SEGA game, Super Monkey Banana Rumble, as DLC. Sonic, Amy, Tails and Knuckles are set to rollout later this month as part of the SEGA Pass DLC or pay separately. All four characters are playable in both the Adventure and Battle Modes. Each character set with unique stats that’ll aid the player on the board. Additionally, these four characters only, all in-game pick-ups will switch from bananas to gold rings that resemble from the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise.

Players can purchase the digital exclusive game for $69.99 USD on the Nintendo eShop and will receive the standard edition of the game and the SEGA pass, which includes a total of six additional playable characters, and a set of fifteen bonus SEGA-themed character customization items. The SEGA Pass can also be purchased separately for $24.99 USD. Character packs will also be available for $4.99 USD. If you plan on purchasing them all together, the digital deluxe will save you some cash versus buying separately.
