Koei Tecmo dropped a big announcement regarding the Ninja Gaiden series. Ninja Gaiden 2 Black releases today for consoles and PC. It’s a big and welcoming gift while players wait patiently for Ninja Gaiden 4, slated to release later this year.

The game is a remastered version of the 2008 Ninja Gaiden II and utilizes Unreal Engine 5 for its upgraded visuals. Characters, background and effects have enhanced in this new version. This includes the bloody gore and lightning speed moves as well. Additionally, Ninja Gaiden 2 Black includes additional content such as the option to control three additional characters: Momiji, Ayane, and Rachel. The remastered version also includes a new mode from beginners called “Hero Play Style”. Giving support in the most difficult situations so players can enjoy and experience Ryu Hayabusa’s story.
