The Oscars released their nominees for the 98th ceremony, which will announce winners on March 15, 2026. That’s quite some time till then. The nominations came in with an overwhelming amount for Sinners, which the Michigan Movie Critics Guild gave it the best film and more. In the animation category, two popular anime films were not mentioned: Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle and Chainsaw Man The Movie: Reze Arc. Both films received high scores here at Cat with Monocle. Wicked‘s second film, Wicked: For Good is another film that was not nominated. It’s first film received awards last year.
