It’s been far too long since we last heard of Kingdom Hearts IV and during the recent Nintendo Direct in early June, the game is still alive. A Kingdom Hearts IV new trailer showed the game is alive and well as it’s set to release for the Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. No release date window is set but expect to hear news much quicker than the length between the first announcement and this new trailer.

In the new trailer, Sora is shown fighting against the heartless in a realistic world, the same setting we saw in its first announcement. Fans of the series may recognize some the new faces in the trailer that are from the mobile-only Kingdom Hearts games: Union χ  and Dark Road. Unfortunately these games were delisted in 2024. Hopefully Square Enix will give more details about these characters to try and not leave fans in the dark.

Kingdom Hearts IV new trailer has finally arrived and give fans hope of a soon release. The game set to launch on the Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. A release date still unconfirmed.
