Echoes of Aincrad demo is now available for players to test out the latest Sword Art Online series. Announced earlier this year, Echoes of Aincrad takes a different approach where you play as a customized character that’s not associated with the popular anime. Instead, players must try and survive inside the game on their own as they step into the floating castle Aincrad. Players will try five full missions, test each weapon type, and get a head start of the real death game when it launches in July.

Echoes of Aincrad demo now available before the game’s official launch date on July 10, 2026 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Fans can visit the game’s official website for additional details and purchasing options.
