One of the earliest Tales games is coming back to modern platforms. Tales of Eternia Remastered announced to release October 16th for the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The single-player role-playing game (RPG) will receive quality-of-life upgrades such as Boost feature that gives players the option to adjust experience gained and encounter rate, toggleable destination icons, and high-speed mode during auto-mode during battle. Additional features for players that can adjust the experience include Battle Retry, Quick Recover, and the Extreme difficulty mode. Players who complete the game will unlock a new difficulty level called “Unknown” that’ll give players a run for their money.

In Tales of Eternia Remastered, players will follow Reid Hershel and his friends on an epic journey filled with unforgettable characters and a story shaped by the cultural differences between two worlds. Set in Eternia, a world where the realms of Inferia and Celestia face each other across the sky, players will join Reid, Farah, Keele, and the mysterious Meredy on a perilous quest. Together, they must stop the “Grand Fall,” a cataclysmic collision of the two worlds, by seeking the power of the Greater Craymel while confronting their own inner selves along the way.
