Those who have yet to pounce on Monster Hunter Wilds will have more options to do so. Capcom has revealed a new Monster Hunter Wilds Demo along with new product options. Additionally, the reveal of Monster Hunter Wilds Champion – Global Exhibition, set to release in September 2026.

The new demo lets players experience the opening hours of the game in offline mode, with the experience to the game’s character creation, all 14 weapon types, and up to Chapter 1-3 “To the Forest” story content. If you decide to pick up the game, your save data will transfer over to the full version on the same platform you played the demo and full game. The demo is available on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (Steam). No Nintendo Switch 2 version announced.

The base game has a permanent price reduction to $39.99 USD. Regarding bundle prices and the content, below is a list players can now choose from:

• Monster Hunter Wilds Gold Edition ($79.99 USD)
  A bundle of the full game and the Monster Hunter Wilds Cosmetic DLC Collection
• Monster Hunter Wilds Cosmetic DLC Collection ($59.99 USD)
  Bundle of 10 DLC packs that includes the Monster Hunter Wilds Extras Cosmetic DLC Pack
• Monster Hunter Wilds Extras Cosmetic DLC Pack ($29.99 USD)
  Bundle of paid cosmetic DLC that were previously only available as standalone products

Players who have previously obtained these items can still use them and individual DLC packs and items are still available to purchase separately.

The special event, Monster Hunter Wilds Champion – Global Exhibition that’s coming in September 2026 will host region tournaments in the United States, Japan, Europe, and Taiwan. The top four hunting duos will gather to compete for themselves and their region. There’ll also be new Challenge Quests: Event: Dreams May Soar and Event: Unchained Arkveld. These two event quests are now available from the Quest Counter to test their skill and compare their best times with the Championship teams. More information on timing and location revealed at a later date.

With the Nintendo Switch 2 version announced earlier this year, the game is still in development and details to come when ready to reveal. The Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance expansion is set to release in 2027.
