A new board game inspired by the popular video game, Ascend the Shinra Tower – Final Fantasy VII Board Game announced to release in January 2027. The board game is available now to pre-order online at Square Enix store for a retail of $34.99 USD. Players will work together to climb the unstable tower while stacking Floor Tiles and Wall Tiles level by level. You’ll chose one of many Final Fantasy VII characters, designed in a storybook‑style artwork made out of wooden pieces, to climb up to the 8th floor where enemies await. Reach the floor while working with teammates to keep the tower steady.

As the Shinra Tower rises, it gradually begins to tilt, becoming increasingly unstable…
