Final Fantasy VII Rebirth demo is now available for the Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X/S. The save progress you make in this demo will carry over to the full version of the game when it releases June 3, 2026. The demos can be downloaded through the Nintendo eShop and Xbox Store. If you play the full game with the saved data transfer, you’ll earn a kupo charm and survival set containing helpful items.

Players will experience, in the demo, the beginning of the game through the end of Chapter 2 “A New Journey Begins”, for free. If you choose not to proceed to the Mythril Mine, you may return to previous areas and continue exploring.

Like Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, player will have the gameplay options to turn the settings to a “God” like mode where you can constantly have your ATB gauge, limit gauge, max damage, constant max gil, max materia levels, constant max HP, MP, and more in the Streamlined Progression settings. Expect the same settings to update over to the PlayStation 5 and PC when the game arrives this summer.
