Bitmap Books will release their latest collection book of Fatal Fury (known as Garou Densetsu in Japan) history book on May 20th. The book will sell in two editions: standard and collector. The collected edition will run at a limited amount of 2,000 copies. This limited edition comes with an exclusive slipcase featuring sound effects that can be pressed on, a set of A5 art cards, and a postcard. The hardcover history book will feature over 460 pages of 35 years of the series for readers to dive into the story and interviews with key developers from across the Fatal Fury series. Pixel artists Hitoshi Okamoto, Youichiro Soeda, and Nobuyuki Kuroki, planner and designer Takeshi Kimura, and Chief Producer of SNK Fighting Games, Yasuyuki Oda will tell their stories in this special bound book. Additionally the book will hold an archive of concept sketches, promotional illustrations, and more.

The Fatal Fury collector’s edition will sell for $75 USD. Additional details available on Bitmap Books’s official website.
