Originally announced in spring 2021, it’s been awfully quiet on the progress of the next mainline title of the popular role-playing game (RPG). During a special event broadcast this morning, Yuji Horii, game designer, and Yosuke Saito, executive producer, announced the update. Dragon Quest XII underwent a restart in the development and the team structure. Yuji and Yosuke revealed development hurdles and decided to restart the game’s process. The game was originally titled Dragon Quest XII: The Flames of Fate is now called Dragon Quest XII: Beyond Dreams. With this new change came a refreshed logo.
