Romancing SaGa 3 is getting a 3D makeover. Romancing SaGa 3: Destinies United announced during the Nintendo Direct this morning, shows a new look to the 1995 classic role-playing game (RPG). We are introduced to the eight protagonists, the battle system, story, and more in this announced trailer, available to view below along with screenshots and character art.

About Romancing SaGa 3: Destinies United

Romancing SaGa 3: Destinies United is a full remake of the 1995 classic Romancing SaGa 3, and brings the title to the modern age with 3D graphics, fully voiced cutscenes, overhauls to combat and other mechanics, selectable difficulty levels and many other new features. Once every 300 years, the Rise of Morastrum eclipses the sun and destroys all newborn life, sparing only a single survivor known as the Child of Destiny. Six hundred years ago, that child became the Archfiend who brought ruin, while three hundred years ago another became the Matriarch who drove back the darkness. Now, over a decade after the latest Rise, the Archfiend’s Four Sinistrals have returned to the world, prying open the Abyss Gates that separate the mortal realm from the Abyss.
