Metroidvania genre is getting a new indie game soon. Well Dweller release date slated to launch on September 22nd will also land on the Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S consoles and not just for the PC and the Nintendo Switch. Developed by Kyle Thompson, known for Crypt Custodian and Islets, with Top Hat Studios publishing the game, Well Sweller is a dark fairy-tale adventure where you play as Glimmer, a tiny bird armed with a matchstick who is on a quest to burn the wicked queen to save his family. Fail and you and your family become part of her royal gown. You’ll battle against terrifying beasts as you gain new abilities and expand the world while uncovering mysteries and secrets that uncover a foul mess in this wretched queendom. It certainly carries a unique and creepy visual that may just haunt your dreams.

Well Dweller release date set to launch on September 22, 2026 for the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Fans can wishlist the game on Steam page.
