As part of the last presentation during the Nintendo Direct, Kirby is getting a brand-new adventure game. Kirby and the World Beyond announced to release exclusively for the Nintendo Switch 2. The game will mark the Kirby series’ 35th anniversary.

In the game, players can freely explore the open world, letting you utilize Kirby’s copy abilities to fight against your foes, including King Dedede. However, an unexpected guest with mysterious powers appears and trusts you with a new power that can break a peculiar wall, opening up a whole new world.

Copy your enemies’ abilities as Kirby, and use the powers you get in lots of different ways! Blast yourself into the air with bomb jumps, stick your sword into trees and climb, ride at high speed across fields, and more—there are plenty of moves you can use to get around as you push boundaries to explore the world beyond.
