It’s eat or be eaten in the latest Metroid 2D adventure. Metroid Ravenous announced during the Nintendo Direct shows a new view of Samus when she’s backed into a corner. Developed by MercurySteam, known for working on Metroid Dread, Metroid: Samus Returns, Blades of Fire, and Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Trilogy, will bring Samus back in a new adventure in this 20.2 GB size file. However, things don’t go well for the intergalactic bounty hunter. Watch the announcement trailer as Samus tries to overcome the odds.

Take control of Samus Aran, a renowned bounty hunter ambushed by unknown attackers and marooned on an unfamiliar moon.
Gather your arsenal, navigate a maze of corridors, hunt down powerful bosses, and use your newly awakened Metroid instincts to devour your foes.
You’ll need to strike quickly and aggressively with beams, missiles, and more—lest you become the enemy’s next meal.
With the announcement, a special edition that includes the full game on the game card, a steelbook, and a special Samus (Metroid Suit) amiibo figure. Expect the item to be limited and if you wish to own it, be on the alert to pre-order it for $119.99 USD. Additionally, two new amiibo figures based on the game will release the same timeframe as the game: Samus ($24.99 USD) and the Chozo Statue ($44.99 USD).
