Total War: Warhammer 40,000 showcases its latest gameplay at this year’s Summer Game Fest: Play Days and during PC Gaming Show. The popular strategy game’s next installment is set to launch on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC soon. I was able to watch a demo played at this year’s Play Days and while I have little knowledge of the game, it already looks great and its gameplay mechanics should make Warhammer fans excited. The amount of detailed of animations from limbs scattered from an explosion to the user interface looks impressive, making each battle intriguing to watch and control.

Players can sign-up for a closed beta opportunity that’ll begin later this year. While no confirmed release date, the game is slated to come out either end of this year or in 2027.
