The Virtua Fighter project finally received its official title, Virtua Fighter Crossroads announced to release in 2027 for consoles and PC.

Stepping aside being a strictly arcade fighting game, this new game looks to become more of a story-driven with realistic combat with simple controls. Based on the reveal trailer during Summer Game Fest, the game looks to be beautifully detailed and while there’s not much action to showcase, it’ll be interesting where the development team will take this franchise. After the announcement, a dedicated livestream was broadcast to showcase the upcoming game and what’s in store for the upcoming game from producer/creative director Riichiro Yamada, art director Ryo Shibasaki, and battle director Yosuke Takeda.
