Announced during the Pixel Arcadia showcase and after 40 years, a new Ninja JaJaMaru-kun games set to arrive on consoles and PC in 2027. Ninja JaJaMaru: Yokai Night Parade announced during the showcase, showcases a colorful, fast-paced ’90s style game that mixes Yokai and Hip-Hop themes. Expect some nostalgia themes when taking out these Japanese folklore creatures in pixel-style sprites. Use your quick ninja skills to take out enemies and utilize the fluid combat system for those multi-hit melee combos.

About Ninja JaJaMaru-kun

The original Ninja JaJaMaru-kun was created by the well-known Japanese company Jaleco and was released for home consoles as early as 1985. That’s more than 40 years ago! Unlike Yokai Night Parade, this game was viewed directly from the side, which is hardly surprising since that was the standard perspective back then. The game was a hit, and many sequels followed over the decades. And apparently, this little pixelated ninja is still going strong!
