Photography adventure game OPUS: Prism Peak is a great game to pick up. It did carry some issues such as performance and missing quality-of-life features. However, OPUS: Prism Peak patch was released from the development team for the Nintendo Switch 2 and PC (Steam) versions. Below is the official list of patches from the game’s official account on X (Twitter):
Major Performance Optimization
- Imroved performance in both Handheld and TV Modes.
- Fixed an issue where performance could drop abnormally low when launching the game in Handheld Mode.
New Second Playthrough Items
- After the first playthrough, players will receive the SIGONO Tripod, SIGONO Lens, and Dusklands Lens.
New Comfort Mode
- Helps players avoid missing important photo opportunities.
- Can be toggled on or off in Settings.
New Manual Save System
- Manual saves are now available at all Sacred Firebowls.
- Old chapter saves will automatically convert to manual slots.
Second Playthrough
- Carry over photos, achievements, and notebook records to your second playthrough.
New Afterstory in the Credits
- Added some brand-new illustration to the credits.
Missable Content Protection
- Added “Point of No Return” prompts before scene transitions to ensure you don’t miss any collectibles.
Announced last month, OPUS: Prism Peak is coming to the PlayStation 5 console but a confirmed release date yet to be announced. The game is available now for the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC (Steam).
