Clear River Games drops a new trailer for the revival of a classic Super Nintendo game. Terranigma release date revealed to launch on January 14, 2027 for all platforms. The game will also receive a physical edition at Clear River Games’s online store, located in Europe. A better option if you wish to own a physical edition that’s not the expensive, original Super Nintendo version.

Terranigma - Physical Edition

The physical edition will come with two versions: Standard and Steelbook. Standard Edition comes with the full game on disc/cartridge and a foil and reversible cover and physical booklet that sits inside the case. The Steelbook Edition comes with the same as the Standard but also includes a steelbook for your physical media but also introduces a new art by Kamui Fujiwara. These items are limited in quantity on Clear River Games website.

The revised RPG will included a few adjustments of quality of life features when it launches in January:

  • Enjoy faster, smoother access to items and magic.
  • An on-screen mini-map helps track your progress and exploration.
  • Customize the background with high-resolution artwork.
  • Love a particular song from the game? Listen to it in the Music Player!
  • Study your enemies in detail in the Museum.
  • The Rewind function will get you out of frustrating situations.
  • Save and load whenever and wherever you want.
  • Don’t like the button layout? Remap it!

About Terranigma

The Earth is a hollow sphere with two sides: an external Lightside and an internal Darkside. In the Darkside village of Crysta, the mischievous Ark lives unaware of the world beyond. But one day, he opens a forbidden door and sets in motion events that will change the world. For decades, Terranigma has captivated players with its emotional story and transformative journey. Now you can (re)experience its magic yourself!

Terranigma release date announced to launch January 14, 2027 for the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
