Another classic ’90s role-playing game (RPG) franchise is coming back with the help of TAITO and Clear River Games. The first two Lufia games, Lufia I & II The Sinistrals Saga announced to release on many modern platforms in 2027. A physical edition will be released for the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PlayStation 5, more details to come at a later date.

This new RPG collection unites the 1993 Lufia & the Fortress of Doom and the 1995 prequel, Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals. Fans who missed out or wanting to replay the games without spending a fortune on the original Super Nintendo cartridges will be able to play it soon.

Lufia I & II The Sinistrals Saga announced to release in 2027 for the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Steam. PC players can wishlist the game on Steam.
